Wali Alam is an experienced writer with over 54 years of experience in the manufacturing industry. His journey began in 1970, where he honed his skills in various large manufacturing companies, steadily climbing the ranks to senior leadership positions in,Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, and Quality Systems.

In 1992, Wali transitioned to Lloyds Register (LR), specializing in ISO 9000 practices, further enriching his expertise in quality management. However, his entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish his own consulting firm in 1994 - a pivotal moment that marked the inception of Quality Institute of America (QIA). Since then, QIA has flourished, expanding its footprint across two continents with four offices.

At QIA, Wali's focus extends beyond traditional Quality Management Systems (QMS) to encompass Safety and Environmental services. Notably, he spearheaded the development of QISS, a revolutionary workflow software that streamlines QHSE systems. QISS boasts a comprehensive suite of integrated applications catering to diverse organizational needs, from document management to risk assessment.
