QISS Health and Safety Management System

QISS has been designed to get the most out of your management system, including ones that support ISO 45001, OHSAS 18001 and related Regulatory requirements. It provides the Management as well as the operational workflows, automating the processes, and record-keeping.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) was established in 1971 in the USA during Richard Nixon’s presidency. This has had a dramatic effect on workplace safety. Fatality and injury rates have dropped markedly. It is estimated that in 1970 around 14,000 workers were killed on the job. In 2009, the number fell to 4,340, while the employment doubled. The per worker rate of fatality fell therefore by 85%. OSHA inspired similar agencies the world over.

No doubt, the better we implement Safety procedures and regulations, the better it is for our safety and health. The best way to do that is to have a formal management system. ISO 450011 and its predecessor  OHSAS 18001 provide the framework for doing so. What QISS has done is to automate the workflows involved.
