| ISO 9000 or QS 9000 : Internal and Supplier Audits
|
This course covers everything you need to know to conduct your own internal audits, as well as conducting audits of your suppliers. This course will allow you to develop the expertise and experience to conduct internal audits in your organization, as required by the standards.
This course explains the types of audits in detail, and takes you through the process from planning and preparation to the actual audit. In this course you will participate in a simulated audit, using case studies and sample manuals.
If you decide that this training better suits you on-site, then we will use your company as the case study instead of a theoretical model. This allows you to address problems in your company by actually conducting an audit. From these audits you can determine potential areas that need improvement while ensuring that the system can and does operate as intended according to the standards.
We can also use examples from your company in the publicly offered course.
"The instructor was one of (if not) the best I have seen in the ISO 9000 field. I recommend sending as many of our internal auditors as you can to this training in the future."

| ISO
9000-2000 for Executive Management
|
If you need a quick yet comprehensive understanding of ISO 9000 either as a first time introduction or as a refresher, you need to attend this one day course. Specially packed with information for decision makers.
Topics include:
- The historical aspect of quality system standards and management science, including published data on performance.
- Purpose and role of a Quality Management System in continuous improvement of effectiveness, consistency and customer satisfaction.
- The eight Quality Management Principles
- The different members of the ISO 9000 family, and their interrelationship--Interpreting the requirements of ISO 9001 to use an integrated management
tool
- The most cost effective method for implementing ISO 9000, achieving certification, and getting the most
out of your system. The QIA
three-step process to achieve this:
1.
Design the Quality Management System using the “LAB” method
for interpreting the standard. This method is an innovative technique
to recognize different levels of interpretation that are possible for
each section and sub-section of the standard.
2.
ISO 9001:2000 prescribes the use of metrics in different parts
of the standard. The principles of the “Balanced Score card” first
postulated by Drs. Kaplan and Norton should be used to select and
design strategic metrics that can then be used to deploy the
organization’s Mission and Quality Policy. The pervasive structure
of ISO 9001:2000 as a management system can be a tool to help exploit
the full potential of the Balanced Scorecard.
3.
The underlying engine of Six Sigma- namely, DMAIC, or Define,
Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control fit very nicely into 8.5.2 and
8.5.3 (Corrective and Preventive Action). A method to integrate Six
Sigma into an ISO 9001:2000 system will be shown.
"During the course I was impressed with your real world versus textbook approach to the implementation of ISO 9000. Not only did you provide a sound implementation approach, the in-depth discussion on expected implementation pitfalls and problem areas prepared me to avoid these areas. My job has been made much easier armed with the knowledge imported from this course."
