What is ISO 9001:2015 - Quality Management Systems (QMS)?

ISO 9001 (Quality Management System) is an international standard published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) for the Implementation of Quality Management System. ISO 9000 is a family of standards designed to assist an organization to design its management system so as to maximize its ability to meet customer expectations and derive customer satisfaction. It will also help in maximizing productivity and profitability.

You may be aware that the latest edition of ISO 9001 (ISO 9001: 2015), ISO's flagship quality management systems standard, has upgraded to ISO 9001:2015. Those businesses currently registered to ISO 9001:2008 will now have the time till the end of September 2018, a certificate to ISO 9001:2008 will no longer be valid.

What is our Consulting Process?

With over 22 years Quality & ISO 9001 consulting experience working with many organizations & industries, we have developed a tool called ISO Easy which allows a company to become certified to the above standard(s) in as little as 4-5 months! ISO Easy is a combination of consulting, training, auditing and the use of our Quality Management software, QISS to effectuate a streamlined approach to certification.

Stage 1 Foundation

Consultant will make an overview on Understanding and Implementation ISO 9001:2008 to create awareness among the top and midlevel management staffs of all the members of the company.The aim is to ensure the Top Leadership and Midlevel team can actively lead, participate and manage the management system from the outset.

Stage 2 Process/Risk Management

This module focuses on the organization's business and management system processes and product/process risk assessments. The aim is to build and/or enhance the organization's process and to identify the related product and process risks, risk mitigation and controls.

Stage 3 Objective/Process Alignment

Consultant along with the team will develop the design of the organization's internal controls including alignment between goals/objectives/KPI’s and process controls. The aim is to ensure the business internal controls meets the needs of the organization.

Stage 4 Human Resource System

This the stage where organization structure, culture, behaviors and HR system will be developed and ensured supports the organization management system. The aim is to form teams comprising competent members from various functional areas of the organization.

Stag 5 Document Management System

Consultant will prepare draft of the bulk of the essential documents especially the Quality Manual (QM) and Quality System Procedures (QSP) addressing the requirements of the standard, business and operational activities of the organizations. The aim is to the document management system is effective.

Stage 6 Implement The Management System

This stage focuses on implementation of the organization management system. The aim is to ensure the management system is flawlessly implemented and expected benefits are fully realized.

Stage 7 Check The Management System

On completion of the documentation, implementation and internal auditing, the Consultant will assist Client’s ISO Team to take corrective and preventive actions on findings of the internal auditing. Later he will carry out a system assessment of the complete new documented system. Consultant will point out omissions, errors, and any other inadequacies and help Client correct these inadequacies. The aim is to ensure the organization's verification system provides stakeholders with the assurance and insight to improve performance, if required.

Stage 8 Certification Audit

An audit company of your choice will be contacted at this stage and will be informed in writing about the state of preparedness of the organization to go for the initial certification audit. The aim is to ensure the initial certification outcome is successful.
